Jessica Roisen, PhD

Dr. Roisen regularly teaches Ethics, Applied Ethics, and Philosophy of Sex and Love for the Philosophy Department. She is a certified mediator and health care ethics consultant. In addition to philosophy, Dr. Roisen also teaches courses on equity and ethics for the Master of Public Health program and is Student Mediation Coordinator. She has a particular interest in justice and peace issues. Her classes are oriented around providing practical applications of theoretical concepts and her pedagogical focus is making philosophy accessible to students of all disciplines and meaningful for application in real-life.
