Madeline Craig, MS is a professor of Kinesiology in the College of Health and Human Services. Craig is the author of "Perceived stress and support preferences during bed rest in twin pregnancies: A cross-sectional online survey. Midwifery." (2022). Madeline teaches introductory courses in the Kinesiology Department related to exercise science and nutrition.

Courses Taught

Foundations of Kinesiology
- The purpose of this course is to provide students with an introduction to human movement including the historical development of physical activity, exercise science, and sport through contemporary culture. This course offers an introduction to the knowledge base as well as information on expanding career opportunities. Physiological, sociological, and psychological principles affecting human movement are also studied.
Exercise Physiology Lab
- Hands-on lab with kinesiology
Nutrition Concepts
- Study of the relationship between food and the human body and its impact on growth and development, performance, and general well-being.
Health, Illness, Well-being
- This course will introduce the physical, psychological, and social changes that occur with aging. Course covers several themes, including understanding social determinants and consequences of health and development, measuring population health, assessing the implications of health disparities, and the contributions of biological and environmental factors (including physical activity) to health, human development, and chronic disease.
