The Biology Department is proud to present the 2026 Hauber Lecture in Biology on Wednesday, March 25th. Dr. Matthew Kolmann, Assistant Professor of Biology at the University of Louisville, will present "Dining with Piranhas: using non-model systems for exploring mutualisms and macroevolution." Dr. Kolmann is an evolutionary biologist whose research explores the relationships among anatomy, ecology, and function in fishes. Using comparative anatomy, phylogenetics, and imaging tools like CT scanning, he investigates how the diversity of fishes has come to be.
This event will be held from 7-8 p.m. in the Rogalski Center Ballroom. The event is free and open to the public.
